We are Luca and Alex, two brothers who have reached the third generation of cattle farming in Pinasca, in Val Chisone.

Since the early 1990s we have been breeding Sprinzen Pustertaler cattle, known in the Piedmont valleys as “Barà Pustertaler”.

Dual-purpose breed that fits well with the characteristics of our territory due to its robustness.

Starting in 2018, we decided to expand our herd with Highland cattle originally from Scotland. This breed is also very hardy, characterized by its long, thick coat, making it particularly resistant to the most adverse weather conditions. In collaboration with our company veterinarian, we decided to undertake a process that led us to select our best donor females and breeding males for the procreation of live embryos. Our goals are:

The protection and safeguarding of our genetic heritage;

Making our embryos available to as many breeders as possible to enrich their genetic heritage more quickly without having to replace the breeding male numerous times;

To give those who do not have mares registered as a breed the opportunity to obtain calves that can be registered in the stud book more easily and quickly.
